Simply pour in the water which fills the entire vessel, then place a long candle in and light it. The majority of the candle is beneath the water and as it burns it seems to melt from the bottom! This is due to the wax burning away at the top and making the candle lighter thus causing it to rise. The effect of the flickering candle through the water and the glass is awesome and will enhance the mood of any room.
